EMEA – Tech Roundup: Jobteaser, Stoke

11 September 2019

JobTeaser, the graduate recruitment and career guidance platform, has raised £45 million in new funding to help it expand its careers service to more students across the UK and Europe, according to TechCrunch. The investment is led by investment company Highland Europe with continued backing from existing investors Alven, Idinvest Partners, Seventure Partners and Korelya Capital. It brings the total amount raised to £61 million since the company was founded in 2008. Since its launch, JobTeaser says it has served 2.5 million students and recent graduates.

Israel-based on-demand freelance management startup Stoke has raised USD 4.5 million to help companies access the growing talent pool of self-employed freelancers and contractors and manage this flexible workforce at scale, according to Globes. The seed round was led by venture capital firm TLV Partners. Stoke’s talent-on-demand platform will enable companies to find, hire and manage freelancers at scale. Stoke will provide organisations with a management platform for their existing external workforce, as well as integrate with popular online freelancer marketplaces, enabling Stoke users to search these sites in from Stoke’s own unified interface and easily on-board new people.
