Circle8Group, previously known as The Staffing Group (De Staffing Groep), announced it has taken a majority stake in Königstein, a German staffing firm.

Financial details were not disclosed.

With the acquisition of Königstein, which will continue to operate under its own name, Circle8Group says it has grown into one of the largest intermediaries in Europe and is ‘taking the next important step towards further internationalisation’ with this acquisition.

Both the current management team and the current employees of the German staffing firm will remain.

Circle8Group added that the acquisition is fully in line with its international buy-and-build strategy.

The deal follows Circle8Group’s March acquisition of Swiss IT staffing and consulting firm Swisslinx.
