Aldi set to create 5,500 new jobs this year (MSN)

21 February 2024

Discount supermarket chain Aldi is set to create 5,500 new roles across the UK this year, reports MSN. The group did not specify details on if the roles would be permanent or temporary. Roles available include store assistants, managers and cleaners at new stores opening this year, with the supermarket also recruiting across its 11 Regional Distribution Centres and within the head office. Aldi recently committed to opening 500 more stores across the UK and is investing more than £1.4 billion throughout 2023 and 2024 as it works towards this long-term target.  This investment includes expanding its distribution and store network as well as further improving existing stores and technology infrastructure to support growth.
