Abatec Recruitment, a recruitment firm based in Somerset, announced the acquisition of St David Recruitment Services, a recruitment firm located in Cardiff.

Financial details were not disclosed.

Abatec said the strategic move strengthens its foothold in the region and broadens its service offerings to a wider range of clients. The company added that the move signifies Abatec's commitment to growth and its dedication to its clients, by adding additional services and an increased regional presence, as well as the considerable additional expertise and resources the team at St David will add.

St David Recruitment was established in 2002 and recruits across a range of sectors, from business support, legal, finance, tech and healthcare.

The acquisition will see St David Recruitment co-founder, Sally Hall, remain with the business in its next stage of growth, operating as usual, with the added support, leadership, and infrastructure of Abatec.
