Brunel International (BRNL: NL), the Dutch staffing firm reported revenue for the second quarter ending 30 June 2016 of €231.2 million, a decrease of 25% in constant currency (CC) compared with the same period last year.

Swedish job board NetJobs (NJOB: STO) reported revenue for the second quarter ending 30 June 2016 of SEK 11.2 million (€1.2 million), an increase of 20% compared with SEK 9.3 million (€1 million) during the same period last year. 

UK – Work Group reports full year results after sale of business to Capita

Work Group plc (LSE - AIM: "WORK"), a London-based recruitment firm, has reported revenue for the year ending 31 December 2015 of £7.1 million, a 6.5% decrease from £7.6 million in 2014.

UK – Empresaria half-year revenue growth driven by temporary and contract business

Empresaria Group (EMR: AIM) the international specialist staffing firm reported revenue of £106.1 million for the half year ending 30 June 2016, an increase of 11% in constant currency (CC) and an increase of 15% in real terms from £92.4 million in 2015.

Sweden – Wise Group sees strong revenue growth for Q2

Swedish staffing firm Wise Group (WISE: SS) reported revenue for the second quarter ending 30 June 2016 of SEK 190.4 million (€20.1 million), an increase of 21% compared with SEK 157.3 million (€16.3 million) during the same quarter last year.  

France – Jobless rate in Q2 falls to lowest level since 2012

The unemployment rate in France for the second quarter has fallen below 10% for the first time since 2012 according to the French statistical body INSEE (National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies.)

UK – Employment rate reaches record high before EU referendum, number of temporary workers rise

Labour Market figures released today by the Office of National Statistics (ONS) show the employment rate from the period of April to June 2016 was 74.5%, the highest since records began in 1971.
