SIA Announces Managing Director Custom Research Appointment

Mountain View, California — July 2, 2021 — Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA), the global advisor on staffing and workforce solutions, has announced the appointment of John Schroeder as Managing Director, Custom Research, effective July 1, 2021. SIA’s Custom Research accelerates the adoption and understanding of industry trends and is designed to help target audiences understand key issues, solve problems, and make strategic business decisions to support business growth.

As Managing Director of Custom Research, Schroeder will lead and develop all aspects of SIA’s Custom Research, helping clients raise awareness of new and often ground-breaking approaches and technologies that represent the future of contingent work. This newly created role extends SIA’s significant capabilities and existing expertise on the opportunities, challenges, disruptions and paradigms that are emerging in the rapid evolution around the staffing and workforce solutions ecosystem and allows partners to establish themselves as thought leaders through independently validated knowledge and insights.

Prior to his appointment at SIA, John led Nova Foresight, a marketing consulting firm. Previously, he also served as Vice President and Practice Leader for the beverage alcohol business at market research giant Nielsen, as well as serving as SVP consumer package goods/consumer durables and retail insights and analytics at Ipsos. John holds an MBA in marketing, strategy and finance from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and teaches marketing as an adjunct professor at Loyola University.
