SIA Conferences Elevate & Empower the Evolving Workforce Solutions Ecosystem

CWS Summit & Collaboration in the Gig Economy Return to London

Mountain View, California & London, UK — March 21, 2019 — Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA), the global advisor on staffing on workforce solutions, has announced the full agenda for its ground-breaking back-to-back conferences that explore powerful new ways of sourcing, engaging and retaining talent and provide insights into the future of the workforce solutions ecosystem. The 10th annual CWS Summit Europe takes place 26-27 March at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, followed by SIA’s newest conference, the award-winning and 2nd annual Collaboration in The Gig Economy, 27-28 March.

CWS Summit Europe is the premier peer-to-peer networking event for contingent workforce professionals. This year’s opening summit keynote features Peter Reagan, SIA’s Senior Director of Contingent Workforce Strategies & Research, presenting on the State of the Industry and a Path to the Future and sharing one-of-a-kind insights to elevate and empower organisations. Special guest keynote and digital anthropologist Rahaf Harfoush dives into how Efficiency is Over-Rated: The Culture of the Hustle & Float as she tackles the deeper cultural questions around work and how we shift our beliefs to make lasting and impactful changes, creating a framework more relevant to today’s economy and to achieving success in the contingent workforce programme space.

“We are excited to host our 10th annual CWS Summit Europe and look forward to bringing together thought leaders and those on the front lines of change for a chance to look in depth at the dynamic transformation taking place in the world of contingent work,” said Barry Asin, SIA President.

Collaboration in the Gig Economy is a game-changing conference that brings together the entire talent supply chain to explore strategies for improving the performance of the entire talent supply chain in a forum geared toward collaboration and innovation. The upcoming Collaboration in the Gig Economy features thought leaders from across the workforce solutions ecosystem, including SIA President Barry Asin speaking to The Gig Economy: Where We’ve Been and Where We Are Going; and leading suppliers and market intermediaries sharing insights on the challenges and solutions facing the ecosystem in a featured title keynote panel Connecting and Optimising the Talent Supply Chain, moderated by SIA’s John Nurthen, Executive Director of Global Research.

Other sessions in the spotlight at this year’s Collaboration in the Gig Economy include the keynote GigE Talks where industry peers on the front lines of connecting and optimising the talent supply chain share perspectives, and the Gig Economy Dragons' Den, where gig economy technology companies compete for the 2nd annual Gig Economy Dragons’ Den Innovation Award.

“The 2nd annual Collaboration in the Gig Economy taps the rapid evolution in the industry over the past year, informing, connecting and elevating the ecosystem and bringing together staffing companies, technology companies, enterprise professionals and related industry partners alike to explore the tremendous shifts in ideology, technology and work models that are taking hold and creating tremendous opportunity,” said Ursula Williams, COO at SIA.
