Mountain View, California & London, UK — August 7, 2019 — Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA), the global advisor on staffing and workforce solutions, has released its 2019 report on the Largest Staffing Firms in Germany. The report features the top 50 staffing and recruitment firms in Germany ranked by their 2018 revenue.

Randstad, The Adecco Group and ManpowerGroup, the largest staffing firms in the world, are also the largest three staffing companies in Germany based on revenue. These companies’ combined income accounts for 18% of the entire market’s revenue and are followed by two companies headquartered in Germany – Persona Services and I.K. Hofmann. Together, these five firms account for 23% of the market, in terms of revenue. Overall the top 50 firms accounted for 48% of the market in 2018.

“We estimate that the revenue generated collectively by the top 50 firms increased by 2.1 % in 2018, while the whole German staffing market grew by 1.0%,” said Matt Norton, Senior Research Analyst at SIA. “Market growth decelerated significantly in 2018, recording its slowest annual rate since 2012. The slowdown of the Germany economy, especially in the second half of last year, coupled with the effect of regulatory changes, acted as a significant headwind to market growth.”
