Yoh Index: Wages Down for High Skilled Temps

June 12, 2012

Hourly wages for highly skilled temporary workers fell 1.42 percent to $31.29 in the first quarter, the lowest hourly wage for highly skilled temporary workers since June 2011, according to the Yoh index of wages released today.

However, Yoh reported some sectors and geographies are outperforming the market. The index found demand and wages were strong for temporary workers in certain sectors of the aerospace industry, including commercial and federal aircraft maintenance. Clinical and information technology wages also performed better, according to Yoh.

Yoh is a Philadelphia-based staffing provider.
