World – Robert Half report strong growth, led by Protiviti and Technology divisions

Robert Half (RHI: NYSE), the US-headquartered international professional staffing firm, yesterday reported revenue for the second quarter ending 30 June 2015 of USD 1.27 billion, an increase of 9.2% (13% in constant currency) compared with USD 1.16 billion during the same quarter last year.

Harold M. Messmer Jr, Chairman and CEO of Robert Half, commented: “We reached the half-year mark with all-time high quarterly results, led by Protiviti and Robert Half Technology. Continued strong demand for our staffing and consulting services contributed to a record quarter. Overall, revenues grew by 9% over the prior year on a reported basis, or 13% adjusted for currency.”

“Protiviti again reported excellent results, with currency-adjusted revenues up 23% from the previous year. Our staffing divisions also performed well, with revenues up 12% year-over-year adjusted for currency. As with the first quarter, growth rates were best in our US operations, but we also saw nice growth internationally.”

“This was Robert Half's 21st straight quarter of double-digit net income and earnings per share percentage growth on a year-over-year basis,” Mr Messmer added.

In trading yesterday, the company’s share price closed down 0.6% at USD 56.11, an increase of 11.2% compared with a year ago. Based on its current share price, the company has a market value of USD 7.58 billion.
