Volt Information Sciences Inc. (OTCBB: VISI) announced it will it will transfer the listing of its stock from the OTC to New York Stock MKT Exchange, part of the NYSE Group. The New York-based company expects to begin trading on the NYSE MKT on Aug. 26, under the symbol "VISI."

“We are extremely pleased to be listed on the NYSE MKT after more than three years of trading on the OTC,” said President and CEO Ron Kochman. “Listing on the NYSE MKT provides our shareholders with enhanced market maker support, improved liquidity and greater visibility.”

Volt, a provider of information technology and engineering staffing, ranks as the 12th-largest U.S. staffing firm. Volt stock began trading on the OTC Markets Group on Jan. 27, 2011, after leaving the New York Stock Exchange as it worked to update filings.
