The unemployment rate for veterans who served on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces at any time since September 2001 fell by 2.2 percentage points to 9.9 percent in 2012, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. The jobless rate for all veterans fell by 1.3 percentage points to 7.0 percent.
