US – Survey: 31% of Healthcare Workers to Seek New Jobs

April 09, 2012

Thirty-one percent of healthcare workers surveyed by Randstad plan to look for a new job in the next 12 months, the company announced along with the release of its new healthcare employee confidence index.

Fifty-eight percent of healthcare workers are confident in their ability to find a new job, and 80 percent of workers believe that it is unlikely they will lose their jobs in the next 12 months.

Overall, the index level was 58.4 in the first quarter of this year.

The index is derived from a survey of 252 healthcare workers that were part of a larger survey of 4,341 U.S. adults. The survey was conducted by Harris Interactive on behalf of Randstad from Jan. 9 to Jan. 11, from Feb. 15 to Feb. 17 and from March 13 to March 15.
