Professional employer organization TriNet named William Porter as CFO. Porter comes to TriNet from Cadence Design Systems where he spent 15 years in several executive roles, most recently as executive VP and chief administrative officer. Porter had also served as Cadence's CFO for nine years.
Porter takes over from Douglas Devlin, who is retiring after more than 20 years with TriNet. Devlin will remain with the company through September to ensure a smooth transition, according to the company.
San Leandro CA-based TriNet ranked No. 5 on Staffing Industry Analysts' 2010 list of largest PEOs based on net revenue.
