Titan Medical Group LLC, a healthcare staffing firm, acquired RSI Medical Staffing, an Omaha NE-based provider of travel nurse and allied healthcare staffing.

Terms of the transaction were not announced. The RSI business now operates under the Titan brand.

"Titan clients, both new and existing, now benefit from a larger available pool of temporary and permanent medical talent," Titan founder, President and CEO Brian Wilke said in a press release. "Contract employees have a greater selection of employment opportunities from which to choose. And, by hiring RSI’s experienced account team, we've strengthened our own internal staff and ensured that former RSI clients enjoy a smooth transition to Titan."

Titan Medical Group was founded in 2002, and the purchase of RSI marked its first acquisition.
