Great American Family Parks Inc. (OTCBB: GFAME.OB) said today it acquired Park Staffing Services of Bakersfield CA. Great American Family Parks is a theme park acquisition, management, and staffing company and owns the Wild Animal Safari Park in Pine Mountain Ga. Based in Santa Monica CA, it had revenue of $9.3 million in 2006. Park Staffing Services provides manufacturing, construction, and office personnel and had revenue of $6.9 million in 2006.

Great American Family Parks will operate as two divisions after the deal with a staffing division and a theme park division. "Temporary, seasonal and part-time employees make up the vast majority of the employees in a theme park or attraction," Chairman and CEO Larry Eastland said in a statement. "This gives us the opportunity to consolidate this important function for our current park, and those we are working to acquire."
