Cotton Holdings Inc. acquired CGI Staffing Solutions Inc., effective immediately. Lake Charles, La.-based CGI is a boutique firm that provides professional-level recruiting and human resources services.

Cotton assumed certain of CGI’s outstanding staffing and professional recruiting services contracts.

The CGI staff, led by Founder and CEO Wendy Mann-Harper, will now operate OneTeam, Cotton’s new staffing and recruiting services business.

Cotton through its operating subsidiaries provides disaster recovery services, construction, roofing, logistics, culinary services, and environmental and health safety services. It also provides temporary housing solutions, catering and staffing services, primarily to large oil and gas companies with operations in the shale oil and gas exploration regions.

“With the establishment of OneTeam, we are able to offer a unique set of services to our clients. We are now a one-stop shop for all their infrastructure support and personnel-related needs,” said CFO Bryan Michalsky. “In addition to the suite of professional services OneTeam will provide to new and existing clients, they will also play an integral role in staff placement for other divisions of the company that specialize in disaster recovery, temporary housing and food services.”
