A temporary worker through her work at two medical facilities stole personal information from at least 49 people, the U.S. Attorneys Office for Maryland reported last week. The temporary worker, Christel Ebony Norwood, 32, of Fort Washington MD, was sentenced to 30 months in prison and ordered to pay restitution of $27,433.
Information taken included names, dates of birth and Social Security numbers, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office. The stolen information was used to buy goods at stores as well as a 2002 Mercedes-Benz.
