French staffing firm Synergie SA posted a growth of 8% in net sales or revenue for the first half of 2008. Net sales for period was euro610.6 million versus euro566.5 million in the first half of 2007. Sales were up 4.2% at constant currency.

"A two-fold increase in revenue from outplacement services in France and the integration of Eurydice Partners in April 2008 have also fueled growth in current operating income," the company said in a statement.

All foreign subsidiaries achieved robust growth during the financial period with Northern and Eastern Europe growing 20%, Southern Europe up 13% and Canada up 26%. International operations are now 32% of the company's total revenue.

Synergie ranked No. 17 in Staffing Industry Analysts' World's Largest Staffing Companies list.
