A third-quarter forecasting survey by QPS Employment Group found that 72% of companies in Wisconsin and Illinois said they were feeling the effects of the economic recovery with 8% saying they are feeling the effects very much and 64% saying they are feeling the effects somewhat.
The third-quarter survey also found that 37% of firms plan to add staff while 6% plan to decrease staff and 57% said staffing will remain the same.
The survey took place in May and included 400 companies in Wisconsin and Illinois with an average size of 95 employees.
QPS Employment Group, a Brookfield WI-based staffing firm, has 20 offices in Wisconsin and Illinois.
