Should firms pay ACA penalties instead of playing? — Staffing Stream

A number of commercial staffing firms say they will provide health insurance to avoid penalties under the Affordable Care Act. However, there are reasons staffing firms should consider the industry tradition of not offering coverage, writes George Reardon, attorney at law, in The Staffing Stream.

The choice may not require “paying” anything, and some of the benefits might include: No additional health costs, no minimum participation requirements for insurance plans, no blizzard of health insurance administration, no “B” penalties and more.
