Fourth-quarter gross margin improved to 41.4% from 38.2% in the year-ago quarter.

Resources Connection posted net income of $2.3 million, up from a net loss of $6.3 million in the fourth quarter of the previous year.

For its full fiscal year, the company reported revenue fell 27.2% to $499.0 million from $685.6 million in the previous year.

Full-year gross margin improved to 39.1% from 38.4%.

Resources Connection posted a net loss of $11.7 million for the full year compared with net income of $17.8 million in the previous year.
