Recruit Holdings Co. Ltd., the world’s fifth-largest staffing company, is expanding outside of staffing in the U.S. Earlier this month, the Tokyo-based company announced it acquired Movoto LLC, a real estate sales website based in San Mateo, Calif.

Recruit operates as a publisher in addition to a staffing firm in the Japan market. In addition, it has other marketing and media companies involved in housing and travel in several other international markets.

In addition to being the fifth-largest global staffing firm, Recruit is the eighth-largest staffing firm in the U.S.
