Third-quarter net income at Pennsauken NJ-based RCM Technologies Inc. (NASD: RCMT) rose 27.8% to $1.7 million from $1.3 million in the same period last year.

The information technology staffing company's third-quarter revenue rose 4.7% to $54.1 million from $51.7 million in the third quarter of 2006. Gross margin slipped to 24.8% from 25.1%.
