QPS Companies Inc., a Brookfield WI-based staffing firm, announced today it acquired N.E.W. Contracting, an industrial and technical staffing firm with a focus on manufacturing. N.E.W. had two locations in Green Bay and Appleton WI. Terms of the deal were not announced.

QPS, which provides technical, industrial, office/clerical, and professional staffing, began in 1985 and now has internal staff of more than 200 employees in 20 offices in Wisconsin and Illinois. QPS said it works with more than 1,000 companies in the two states.
