QPS Companies Inc., a privately held staffing firm based in Brookfield WI, said Monday it acquired Personnel Resources Inc., a staffing firm with offices in Beaver Dam and Richland Center WI. Terms of the transaction were not announced.

Personnel Resources provides the same staffing services as QPS, which include industrial, office/clerical, professional and technical staffing, according to the company. Personnel Resources' owner and President Susan Christian will remain as a consultant with QPS, but she will no longer be active in day-to-day operations.

Plans call for Personnel Resources' operations to fold into QPS, and the Personnel Resources name will phase out after six months.
