Provade names new president, CTO

October 03, 2014

Provade Inc., a VMS provider, named Hans Bukow as president. He replaces Edward “EJ” Jackson, who co-founded the company in 2004 and is stepping down. Jackson recently launched scibox, a customer engagement software solution exclusively for staffing companies, and ranks on Staffing Industry Analysts’ list of the 100 most influential people in North American staffing. He will remain with Provade as an advisor and independent board member.

Bukow founded eWork, one of the earliest B2B workforce marketplaces and VMS providers. After eWork’s acquisition in the US — by The Albany Group in 2007 — and an IPO in Europe, Bukow held various strategic consulting and leadership roles for several organizations and founded several other technology companies.

Provade also promoted Tom Rumberg from vice president of technology to chief technology officer.

“Hans is a strong industry veteran, whose track record of innovation, entrepreneurship and tangible business growth is a true asset to the Provade leadership team. Tom’s expertise will help Provade continue to broaden their technology footprint,” said Nina Vaca, Chairman of the Board for Provade. “Their depth of experience and breadth of knowledge in the VMS space will make significant contributions to Provade’s strategic direction and the value they deliver to customers.”
