Here are recent promotions, new hires and other personnel announcements made by staffing firms. Today’s listings include changes at Heidrick & Struggles, API Healthcare, Resources Global Professionals and others.

Executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles International Inc. (NASD: HSII) named Brad Berke as global practice managing partner leading the supply chain and operations practice. Berke previously led the North America supply chain and operations practice.

API Healthcare, a workforce management technology provider for the healthcare industry, announced James McDevitt joined its executive team as vice president of human resources. McDevitt most recently was the chief medical officer’s human resources manager at GE Healthcare.

Resources Global Professionals promoted Steve Barker from senior practice leader, human capital, to global managing director of human capital. Barker joined RGP in 2000 to help start the human capital practice. Resources Global Professionals is the operating subsidiary of staffing provider Resources Connection Inc. (NASD: RECN).

Pro Staff promoted Sarah Green from senior business development manager to sales director for Pro Staff’s North Texas region. Green joined Pro Staff in 2008. The company is owned by Minneapolis-based staffing provider Atterro Human Capital Group. In North Texas, it provides administrative and light industrial staffing.

Landrum Human Resources announced Laura Kirby joined the company as a business development manager for its staffing services division, concentrating on Florida’s Okaloosa and Walton counties. Kirby has an extensive sales background in real estate relocation services. Through various subsidiaries, Landrum Human Resources provides comprehensive staffing services, human resources training and consulting, as well as professional employer organization services.
