Command Center Inc. (OTCBB: CCNI.OB), a Post Falls, Idaho-based staffing provider, confirmed the appointment of Ralph Peterson as chief financial officer. The company had previously appointed Peterson as interim CFO after former CFO Jeff Mitchell stepped down on Dec. 28. Peterson will continue as a member of the board of directors for a term running until Command Center’s 2012 annual shareholders meeting.

Employment Plus, Inc., a Bloomington, Ind.-based staffing firm, hired Matt Grueder as regional director for Northern Chicago and Wisconsin. Grueder has more than 10 years of experience in the staffing industry. In his new role, Grueder will be responsible for developing new business in the Greater Chicago and Wisconsin markets.
