Calian Technologies Ltd. announced Kevin Ford will take over as general manager of its business and technology services division early next year. Ford has more than 28 years of experience in IT and information management. He most recently served as public sector partner with IBM Global Business Services in Ottawa. Current general manager of the business and technology services division, Tom Coates, will retire in March 2011. Calian's business and technology services division includes its staffing services. Calian ranked No. 11 on Staffing Industry Analysts' list of largest staffing firm in Canada.

Wesley, Brown & Bartle Inc., a New York-based executive search firm, named Jerry Pegram as principal to manage its executive search operations. Pegram is a former captain in the U.S. Army and saw combat duty in Iraq. He is also a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point.

Korn/Ferry International Inc. named Juan Luis Betancourt as client partner in its global consumer practice. Betancourt comes to Korn/Ferry from Heidrick & Struggles International Inc. (NASD: HSII). Betancourt will be based in Miami.
