Lenexa, Kan.-based B. E. Smith, an executive search firm specializing in healthcare, named Lisa Carr senior VP, talent strategies. Carr previously was vice president of talent acquisition at New York-Presbyterian Hospital in New York.

Vector Technical Resources, an IT staffing firm servicing the Washington, DC area, announced Katie Nelson was promoted to executive VP. She joined the firm in 2013 and is responsible for client management, business development and operational duties. Vector also announced Chris Clover joined the firm in December as controller. Clover most recently was controller for several small businesses. In addition, Katrina Gray was promoted to director of human resources. Grey joined the firm in June 2014. She will lead and oversee all human resource functions, employee benefits and internal operations.

Executive search firm Korn Ferry International Inc. (NYSE: KFY) announced Douglas Madden joined the firm as senior client partner in its global technology practice. He will be based out of Korn Ferry’s San Francisco office.

Lucas Group, an Atlanta-based executive search firm, announced Executive Senior Partner Mike Kahn was elected director of the Texas Society for Human Resource Management. 

AC Lordi, an accounting and risk management consulting and executive search firm, promoted Jeff Flynn and Lisa Hilburn to principals of the firm. Hilburn has been with AC Lordi for 11 years providing controller/CFO services to emerging pharmaceutical companies. Flynn joined AC Lordi in 2003 and assists clients with Sarbanes-Oxley programs. AC Lordi is headquartered in Malvern, Pa.
