Office Openings

Companies announcing office openings or expansions include Remedy Intelligent Staffing, Interim Healthcare, EverStaff, Donovan & Watkins, Oxford Global Resources and The Judge Group.

Remedy Intelligent Staffing, a franchise division of The Select Family of Staffing Companies, announced four franchise offices have opened recently. In March, Dan Doherty opened a new office in Elmhurst, Ill. In May, Silvia Caravella and John Caravella opened a Remedy office in Matawan, N.J. Two were opened in September: Dan Jourdan and Nick Modares opened a Remedy franchise in Roswell, Ga., and Jenny Monteleone and Michael Monteleone opened a franchise in Cranford, N.J. Several existing franchise owners also have expanded their operations. Burke Mullins added a Medford, Ore., recruiting office to his existing footprint in Portland, Ore., and Olympia and Tacoma, Wash. Debra Friedrich, owner of several locations in Wisconsin and Minnesota under the Westaff brand (Remedy’s sister division), expanded into Spirit Lake, Iowa, and took over a Remedy branch in Green Bay, Wis.

Interim Healthcare announced a new franchise has opened in Birmingham, Ala., under the ownership of French Forbes. Forbes ran a family piano business for 23 years before transitioning to staffing.

EverStaff expanded into the Detroit, Mich., area, with the opening of a branch office in Farmington Hills. This is the company’s first branch office in Michigan and the 16th overall.

Houston-based Donovan & Watkins, a staffing and legal solutions company and subsidiary of the Willis Group, opened new offices in Chicago. The new facility will initially create more than 200 jobs in the Chicago market. The company will also provide recruiting and staffing solutions for both its national and local clients within the legal, finance/accounting and administrative labor verticals from this location.

Beverly, Mass.-based Oxford Global Resources opened a new Oxford & Associates office in downtown Chicago. The office will identify job opportunities for IT consultants who are local to the Chicago area, and deliver IT consultants to firms in and around the city of Chicago. It is Oxford’s second Chicago-area office.

Philadelphia-based The Judge Group, a professional services firm specializing in technology consulting, staffing solutions and corporate training, continues its southwest expansion with the opening of an office in Phoenix. The office will provide a full spectrum of technical staffing and recruiting solutions in the areas of information technology, finance and accounting, and engineering to companies across all industries.
