Ashley Ellis, an information technology staffing and recruiting firm, has opened a new office in Houston. Randy Lohmeier will lead the new branch office. Lohmeier recently worked at the company's Naperville, Ill., branch.

The Lawton Group, a staffing and training company, opened a new office in Cape Coral, Fla., News-Press.com reported. Sue Hartmann, daughter of the company's founder, Judy Lawton, will be the regional director of the Cape Coral location, according to the report.
