Nevada Again Posts Highest Jobless Rate

Nevada again posted the highest unemployment rate among states in August at 12.1 percent, according to seasonally adjusted numbers from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Rhode Island and California posted the next highest rates, 10.7 and 10.6 percent, respectively.

North Dakota again registered the lowest jobless rate among states at 3.0 percent in August.
