Here are a few recent announcements of promotions, new hires and other personnel actions made by staffing firms. Firms making announcements this week include Epitec Inc., TRC Staffing Services Inc., PrideStaff and Kelly Services Inc.

Epitec Inc. announced a new structure for its executive team. Rebecca Bray was promoted to chief sales officer, responsible for the sales and recruiting teams that support Epitec’s existing client base. She will also oversee the company’s recruiting academy. Epitec also promoted Mark Ruma to chief operating officer; he will focus on business and technology infrastructure. Anthony Hollamon, executive vice president, is responsible for new business development, human resources and customer service. Epitec is a Southfield, Mich.-based information technology staffing provider.

TRC Staffing Services Inc. named Michael Walden as its new vice president of business development. Walden comes to TRC with 12 years of experience. TRC is based in Atlanta and ranks No. 68 on Staffing Industry Analysts’ 2012 list of largest U.S. staffing providers.

Steve Haraway is the owner/strategic-partner of PrideStaff’s new southwest Houston branch office. PrideStaff is a national staffing organization headquartered in Fresno, Calif.

Carl Camden, president and CEO of Kelly Services Inc. (NYSE: KELYA), was named co-chair of the Committee for Economic Development. Camden will serve alongside co-chair Roger Ferguson Jr., president and CEO of TIAA-CREF. The Committee for Economic Development is a nonprofit, nonpartisan public policy organization that does research on major economic and social issues.
