The National Association of Professional Employer Organizations awarded Timothy Doherty with the Michaeline Doyle award for leadership. Doherty, one of 15 people to have ever received the award, is owner and chairman of Doherty Employment Group, a Minneapolis-based staffing firm that offers PEO services.

"With his leadership, strategic plans were put into place to address fundamental perceptions and concerns on both the state and national levels to promote a favorable industry image," said David Day, president of Management 2000 and NAPEO's Midwest leadership council.
