The Mexican economy will expand at its current modest pace in the near term, according to The Conference Board’s leading economic index and coincident economic index for November that were released on Friday.

The leading economic index fell 0.3 percent in November. However, its six-month growth rate has returned to positive territory for the first time since July.

The coincident economic index rose 0.2 percent in November, continuing to increase at a steady pace.
