Sixteen staffing firms generated at least $50 million in healthcare staffing revenue, according to a new list ranking healthcare staffing firms by estimated 2010 staffing revenue. The list was released by Staffing Industry Analysts.

The largest healthcare staffing firm by 2010 estimated U.S. healthcare staffing revenue was AMN Healthcare Services Inc. (NYSE: AHS) with approximately $765 million in revenue. AMN also ranked as the largest travel nurse staffing firm with $275 million in revenue in that segment, and the largest allied health staffing firm with $116 million in revenue.

CHG Healthcare Services ranked as the largest locum tenens staffing firm with an estimated $421 million in U.S. locum tenens revenue. Maxim Healthcare Services ranked as the largest per diem nurse staffing firm with an estimated $226 million in U.S. per diem nurse staffing revenue.
