Korn/Ferry buys government consulting firm

Korn/Ferry International Inc. (NYSE: KFY) acquired Sensa Solutions, a McLean VA-based provider of management consulting to the federal government and others. Terms of the transaction were not announced.

Sensa provides strategic planning, training, executive coaching and other services.

Sensa CEO Vicki Tarallo will join Korn/Ferry and report to Ana Dutra, CEO of Korn/Ferry's leadership and talent consulting group.

The acquisition will be accretive to earnings within 12 to 18 months, according to Korn/Ferry.

Sensa appeared on Inc. magazine's 2009 list of the 5,000 fastest-growing private companies. Inc. magazine reported Sensa's 2008 revenue was $9.4 million.
