Kelly Services Inc. (NASD: KELYA, KELYB) promoted Nicola Soares to vice president and managing director of its Product Centers of Excellence, formerly the Americas Product Group. The group includes professional and technical staffing services as well as commercial staffing.

Soares is responsible for managing operations and driving growth within the Americas region.

She had joined Kelly in 2010 as vice president of Kelly Educational Staffing, which provides educational staffing to kindergarten through 12^th-grade school districts nationwide.

Soares began her career in 1991 as a social studies teacher before taking on marketing roles at McGraw-Hill Education, where she became vice president of product innovation. In 2007, she joined NBC Learn, an education arm for NBC Universal.
