Jury Rules in Favor of Adecco

August 22, 2012

Donald Schroeder, an attorney with employment law firm Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C., announced a defense verdict in a sex harassment/retaliation case on behalf of his client, Adecco USA, in federal court in Pittsburgh.

The jury rejected plaintiff’s allegations that she had been subjected to a hostile work environment by an Adecco employee or that Adecco retaliated against her, according to the law office. The co-defendant in the case, a global pharmaceutical company, settled before trial.

The suit was filed in August 2011 by Charlotte “Roxanne” Kaminsky, according to court records. Kaminsky was employed in August 2003 in a transportation logistics position at Bayer Material Science LLC where she alleged harassment occurred, according to court records.
