Is your staffing website mobile friendly? Half of large staffing firm websites aren’t

A quick check of websites for the 20 largest US staffing firms found only half passed muster under a new Google tool that measures whether a website is mobile friendly.

Google is giving more weight to mobile friendliness in its search results. And research by Staffing Industry Analysts has found that search engine optimization is key to a successful staffing firm website.

“One of the most leveraged things you can do is to get your website mobile friendly,” said Jon Osborne, VP of strategic research at Staffing Industry Analysts, who discussed the topic in a webinar presentation Tuesday on the “12 underappreciated business opportunities” in staffing.
