Insperity Inc. (NYSE: NSP), the largest professional employer organization in the U.S., reported third-quarter revenue rose 8.5 percent to almost $512.0 million from $471.8 million in the third quarter of last year. The company reported the increase came through a 7.5 percent increase in the average number of worksite employees and a 1.0 percent increase in revenue per worksite employee per month.

Third-quarter gross margin improved to 19.2 percent from 18.4 percent in the year-ago quarter.

Houston-based Insperity reported third-quarter net income rose 179.4 percent to $11.5 million from $4.1 million in the third quarter of last year.
