IT staffing provider ettain group acquired Timberhorn IT Solutions, an IT staffing company in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.

The acquisition closed Oct. 30; terms were not disclosed.

The Timberhorn brand will remain through early 2016 and its employees will remain on staff. Plans call for Timberhorn and ettain group’s local employees to share offices early next year.

The transaction grows ettain’s presence in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and enhances strategic support of several national customers. The Charlotte, N.C.-headquartered firm also hopes take advantage of the Dallas-Fort Worth region’s strong business climate.

The acquisition adds 160 employees and contractors to ettain group’s current 1,200 employees and contractors.
