Eight of the top 10 fastest-growing U.S. staffing provided information technology staffing, according to a new report released by Staffing Industry Analysts. The top 10 firms had median compound annual revenue growth of 39.8 percent.

The list was based on U.S. staffing revenue growth from 2006 to 2010 excluding acquisitions. The lists also counted payrolling revenue on a net basis and managed service provider revenue net of pass-through revenue.

Topping the list this year was WorkSource Inc., an industrial staffing firm based in West Des Moines, Iowa, with compound annual growth of 52.35 percent and 2010 U.S. staffing revenue of $6.6 million.

However, the next four fastest-growing staffing firms were all providers of IT staffing. They include: Rose International, 46.09 percent growth; Pinnacle Technical Resources, 43.77 percent growth; TekPartners/MedPartners HIM, 40.89 percent growth; and Insight Global, 40.71 percent growth.
