The Hudson Highland Group Inc. (NASD: HHGP), a Chicago-based staffing firm, named Stephan Carter as president and CEO of Hudson North America effective Dec. 1. Carter will oversee direction for the company's information technology, legal, financial solutions and recruitment and talent management divisions.

Carter previously spent eight years as president and chief operating officer of Komori America Corp., a manufacturer of printing equipment. He also spent almost 20 years at R.R. Donnelly, a printing company, in executive positions.
