Team Health Holdings LLC, a Knoxville TN-based firm that provides outsourced medical services and healthcare staffing, filed a registration statement today with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for an initial public offering.

Team Health's outsourced medical services include the staffing and management of emergency departments in hospitals. It also provides staffing services alone in both locum tenens and other healthcare professionals. It has a staffing subsidiary called Daniel and Yeager Inc., which provides locum tenens and physician permanent placement.

The company posted 2008 net revenue (less provision for uncollectibles) of $1.33 billion.
