E-Verify is currently unavailable due to the U.S. government shutdown and E-Verify accounts cannot be accessed, according to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services' E-Verify website.

Employers aren't able to take such actions as verifying employment eligibility for workers, enrolling in the system or editing their company information.
