General Employment buys staffing operation

General Employment Enterprises Inc. (AMEX: JOB) acquired assets of staffing provider On-Site Service Inc.

Under the deal, General Employment will issue shares with a value equal to $600,000. In addition, there is a potential earn-out in the deal for $1.02 million more.

On-Site had annual revenue of approximately $10 million, according to a filing by General Employment with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

"We are very excited about this acquisition and believe it is a significant step towards executing our plan to build a national human resource outsourcing company with multiple product lines," said General Employment CEO Salvatore Zizza.

General Employment, based in Oakbrook Terrace IL, provides information technology, engineering and accounting staffing.
