November 12, 2014

Employers plan to hire 8.3 percent more new college grads from the class of 2015 for their US operations than they did from the class of 2014, according to a survey of 260 employers by the National Association of Colleges and Employers.

Employers surveyed were members of NACE.

Survey respondents also reported plans to raise starting salaries for new college hires by 3.6 percent.

Among majors receiving the most interest were finance, accounting and computer science graduates. However, not all industries are represented in the survey results.
